Top 8 questions to ask a potential employer!
- What are your = company’s strengths and weaknesses compare to its = competition?
- What is the = organizations plane for the next five years and how does this department fit = in?
- What are the day to = day responsibilities of this job?
- Could you describe = your companies management and style and the type of employee that fits = well within it?
- What is the = company’s policy on providing seminars, workshops, and training so that = employees can keep up with their skills or acquire new = ones?
- What kind of work can = I expect to be doing in the first year?
- How much opportunity = will I have for decision-making in my first = assignment?
- Can you describe your = ideal employee.
I doubt that there are many employers that would gladly answer all of these questions, we are not there yet, except perhaps of the top employers. I think we can do so much better if we reeducate each other to be more open minded on the labor market.
